Supported formats
JPG, PNG and WebP, one image at a time. Paste, drop or choose a local file. GIF animations, SVG and HEIC are not supported. PNG and WebP preserve transparency; JPEG fills transparent areas with white.
Frequently asked questions
Why is PNG quality unavailable, and why can files grow?
PNG does not use this lossy quality setting. Try resizing or converting to WebP / JPEG. Re-encoding an already optimized image can increase its size. The tool displays the actual change.
Are images uploaded? Do I need an account or payment?
Images are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. No login or payment is required. Processing and downloads are free, with unlimited uses and no added platform watermark.
How do copying and downloading differ?
Copy writes the result as PNG to your clipboard for pasting into other apps. Download uses your chosen format. Clipboard file size may differ; download to retain the compressed file size. If your browser blocks copying, download instead.
